Amazon is expected to launch a new device on June 18 that will amaze everyone, as it claims. The company has been rumored to be working on a smartphone which is said to have the newest technology, the 3D enabled smartphone.

Amazon tweeted recently inviting everyone to an event where Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos will be unveiling a product in its hometown Seattle on June 18.

“Join Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos for our launch event. June 18th, Seattle. Request an invite,” Amazon posted on its Twitter page, along with a link to the invitation appeal page.

The e-commerce giant is expected to enter into the smartphone market with a rumored device that will allow objects to appear in 3D without the requirement of glasses. If this happens to be true, then smartphone big players like Apple, Google and Samsung will have to face a new competitor in their market share.

The e-commerce company, Amazon, entered the gadgets market with its quite successful device Kindle Fire, a tablet, which is now available in various versions.

However, if it is a smartphone, then Amazon needs to convince consumers and give them unique reasons to look beyond Apple and Samsung.
